RICHFIELD SPRINGS-Joseph Thomas Haynes age 24 of McKoons Road passed away on Sunday morning November 25, 2001 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born on July 18, 1977 in Herkimer, son of Mark A. and the late Caren Gilligan Haynes. A life long area resident he was graduate of Richfield Springs High School. Upon completion of high school he worked for Haynes Tool & Dye Company in German Flatts. For the past four years he has worked for the USA Remedial Company and had currently held the position of Supervisor.
Joe had a love for the outdoors and all the exciting things to be found there hunting, fishing, motorcycling, boating and snowmobiles took up a good share of his leisure time.
Surviving him are his father; Mark A. Haynes, a brother Jason Joseph Haynes both of Richfield Springs, his paternal grandparents; Joseph and Theresa Haynes of Mohawk, his paternal aunts and uncles; Lee Haynes and his wife Mary of Ilion, Marie Joiner of Ilion, Susan Phillips of Mohawk as well as many other maternal aunts and uncles, three cousins Matthew Haynes, Benjamin Haynes both of Ilion and Theresa Vogt of Mohawk.
His beloved mother Caren preceded him in death on December 27, 1999.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 10:00 AM in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs. The Reverend Alan Miller pastor of the Richfield Springs Bible Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Mohawk Cemetery. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Joseph Thomas Haynes was loved by all. He will forever be in our hearts.
