Joyce A. Schrader, age 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in the comfort of her home, with loving family by her side.

She was born May 25, 1930, in Herkimer, the daughter of the late Jacob and Dorothy (Witherstein) Weber.  She was one of thirteen children, raised and educated in Herkimer and graduated from Herkimer High School.  On August 2, 1952, she was united in holy matrimony to Rudolph M. Schrader, Jr. in United Methodist Church, Herkimer.  Rudolph passed away on December 2, 2013, together they shared a devoted union of 61 years.  Joyce was employed by Univac and then Duofold for 30 dedicated years.  Joyce was devoted to her family and her home.  She enjoyed many years with Rudy, the canoe club and bowling, but most of all she enjoyed all her drives up north with Rudy, Karen and Allen.  She was there for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She will be truly missed.

Joyce is survived by her loving children Rudolph "Rudy" Schrader and his wife Kimbrly, Mohawk, daughter Susan Schrader, Herkimer, five adored grandchildren Nicole McLean, Jenna Macri and her husband Brian, Ashley Crandall, Luke Schrader and his wife Emily, Kyle Crandall and his wife Jenna, 11 precious great grandchildren, sister Joan Parsons, and several nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her daughter Rebecca George, brothers James, William Howell, Robert, Fredrick 'Ted" Warren, Jacob, Douglas and sisters Francis, Margaret, Shirley.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours for Joyce on Sunday, December 14, 2025, 11AM-1PM from Fenner Funeral Home, Inc. 115 Court Street, Herkimer. She will be laid with her beloved Rudy in Oak Hill Cemetery, German Street, Herkimer in the spring of 2026.

Joyce's family wishes to express their deepest sincere gratitude to her niece Paula Layaw for her years of care and compassion and to the special caregivers Tiffany Cadell, Kristin Irla and Abby Vivacqua.
