Obituary

EAST HERKIMER - Julia Mae Hull Judy age 91 of Pine Grove Road passed away peacefully on Sunday morning August 23, 2009 in Folts Homes, Herkimer. She was born on May 6, 1918 in St Johnsville, daughter of the late John and Eva Anderson. A lifelong area resident she was raised and educated in Little Falls. On December 25, 1942 she was united in marriage with Harold D. Hull in Little Falls. Together they shared a loving and devoted union of forty-seven years until his passing on December 28, 1989. During the 1950s Mrs. Hullworked for UNIVAC until she stopped to raise her family. In the 1970s she worked for Mohawk Data sciences retiring in 1974. She at one time had also served as the Tax Collector for the town of Herkimer. In her retirement years she found great relaxation and joy in doing ceramics. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her many friends and family, especially her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. A warm and caring lady, she will be greatly missed. Surviving are two sons and their wives; Daniel S. and Paulette Hull of East Herkimer, Shepard J. and Patricia Hull of Middleville, a sister, Molly Grau of Little Falls, five grandchildren, John Hull, James Hull, Kristin Alves, Adrian Hull-Greenwood and Daniel Hull II, four great grandchildren, Elijah Hull, Olivia Hull, Iszabella Hull and Matthew Alves, many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Harold she was preceded in death by four brothers, Steve, Walter, Ray and Rudy Anderson and two sisters, Anna Paul Hygeri and Leona Lynch. Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 10:00 am in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street; Herkimer. The Reverend James Famulare, Rector of St Michaels Episcopal Church, Middleville will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm.
