WINSTON-SALEM, NC-Katrina Lyn Johnson age 31 formerly of Richfield Springs passed away on Wednesday August 23, 2017 in her home in Winston-Salem. She was born on June 14, 1986 in Havelock, NC, daughter of Susan (Suzi) Wilbert Behr of Richfield Springs and Nate Johnson (Ana Johnson) of Middletown, Ohio and Kevin Behr (Tammy Behr) of Cherry Valley. Katrina was raised in Richfield Springs and was a graduate of Richfield Springs High School. She furthered her education, receiving an Associate Degree from Herkimer County Community College and graduating from Saint Lukes School of Radiology in New Hartford. She was presently working as merchandising manager at the Dollar Tree Store in Winston-Salem. To all who knew her she was a fun loving, family oriented young woman, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, adventures and had a passion for music and art. The past year she has been devoted to her son and working hard in her career where she had recently been promoted. She will always be remembered for her contagious laugh and beautiful smile. She will be sadly missed by all. Besides her parents she is survived by her significant other, Richard Keith Wallace of Clemons, NC, her adored baby boy Lyle Chase Wallace, his brother Ethan of Winston-Salem, a sister, Nicole (Johnson) Disbrow and son Christopher French of Holland Patent, two brothers, Dakota Behr and daughter Peyton Behr of Ilion, Tyler Bianchine of Cherry Valley, her grandmother, Sandra Wilbert of Richfield Springs, Grandparents Leroy and Audrey Johnson of Bayonette Florida, and predeceased Grandparents Lyle Wilbert and Patricia Feik, and a very special Uncle John Maine along with many aunts, uncles and cousins and her beloved Tyson Micheal (dog). Calling hours for Katrina will be on Saturday September 23rd from 3:00 to 5:00 pm in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street; Richfield Springs. A funeral service will follow immediately after in the funeral home with the Reverend Alan Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Lyle Chase Wallace Trust Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
