RICHFIELD SPRINGS - Kellee Tartanis, age 60, of US Highway 20 passed away on Thursday morning October 13, 2011 in her home. She was born on June 14, 1951 in Danbury, CT a daughter of Jeanette Capellaro McKay and the late Augustus Tartanis. She was raised and educated in Danbury. Kellee was US Coast Guard Licensed Captain and Merchant Marine Officer and the owner operator of Economy Water Freight Towing and Salvage Company in Vero Beach, FL and in 2003 she moved to Richfield Springs. Surviving besides her mother Jeanette, her husband Arthur Cap Lembright, III both of Richfield Springs, a step daughter Kaitlynd Lembright of New York City, two brothers Joseph Fremante of Albany and Jon Fremante of Lake Placid and her step mother Helen Tartanis. A graveside service will be held on Saturday October 15th at 2:00 pm in St. Josephs Cemetery, Richfield Springs with Father Paul Panos officiating. Funeral arrangements are with J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs, New York.
