Obituary

FORT PLAIN - Laurie Ann Knoblauch, 45, of Stone Arabia Road passed away unexpectedly on Monday June 18, 2007 in her home. She was born on June 19, 1961 a daughter of George G. and the late Ida Martin Robinson. Laurie was raised and educated in Richfield Springs and a graduate of Richfield Springs High School with the Class of 1979. She was married to Charles A. Knoblauch. They had owned and operated Stone Arabia Logging where Laurie was the bookkeeper. Besides her father George are surviving a son Peter Nasypany, III of South New Berlin; two daughters Heather Nasypany-Bladow and her husband Will of Okinawa, Japan, Kayla Knoblauch of Fort Plain; a brother Garrett Robinson of Richfield Springs; a granddaughter Zoe Bladow of Okinawa, Japan a nephew Zachary Robinson of Jackson, WY and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Ida in 2001 and her brother Edward A. Robinson in 1984. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday June 22nd at 10:00 a.m. in Twilight Rest Cemetery, Monticello. The Reverend William Harkins, pastor of the Church of Christ Uniting, Richfield Springs, to officiate. There will be no calling hours and the family requests no floral offerings. Funeral arrangements are with the J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs.
