HERKIMER - Leon Jackie Booth, age 92 of Park Lane Drive, passed away on Tuesday August 26, 2003 in Valley Health Services, Inc., Herkimer. She was born on August 13, 1911 in Virginia, a daughter to the late William Henry and Nannie Sue Marks Pearce. Jackie was raised and educated in Madison Heights, VA. On July 3, 1931 she married Thomas A. Booth in Lynchburg, VA, a blessed and loving union of 61 years until his passing in 1992. She was once employed with Collegeville Flag Company in Collegeville, PA retiring in 1975. Jackie was a creative person whos favorite hobby was quilting. Surviving her a daughter Joyce Wilkerson and her husband Robert, Sr. of Herkimer; four Grandchildren Robert Wilkerson, Jr. and his wife Dianne of Richmond, VA, Scott Wilkerson and his wife Coralee of Palmyra, PA, David Wilkerson of Rochester, and Glen Wilkerson and his wife Sandra of Utica; seven great-grandchildren Jason, Jennifer, Jamie, Justin, Jeffrey, Jodi, and Daniel Wilkerson; a sister Arlene Eubanks of Madison Hgts., VA; and dear and close friend Alexandra Geviss. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:30pm in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer. Funeral service and interment will take place in Madison Heights, VA.
