Obituary

HERKIMER - Lillian M. Pritchard, 78, of West German Street, formerly of Steinhorst Apartments, Utica, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown. She was born March 18, 1926, in Tupper Lake, daughter of the late William and Myrtle Jones. Lillian was raised in Tupper Lake and graduated from high school there. On March 2, 1944, she married Thomas R. Pritchard in Utica, a loving and devoted union of 55 years. Mr. Pritchard preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 1999.Mrs. Pritchard's life was her home and family. She delighted in the joys of motherhood, the warmth of holidays and doing for her family. She was happiest when surrounded by friends, family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Surviving are two sons, Wayne T. and his wife Dorothy I. Pritchard of Frankfort and Dennis R. Pritchard of Utica; a daughter, Sally A. and her husband Ronald Longo of Gaithersburg, Md.; seven grandchildren, Wayne T. Pritchard Jr. and his wife Sharon of Frankfort, Denise M. Pritchard-Manley and her husband John of Ithaca, Dawn and her husband Alan Meszler of Ilion, Deborah and David Longo, Rebecca Henry and her husband David, all of Maryland, and Keith of Arizona; five great-grandchildren, Wayne T. Pritchard III, Jeffrey and Jerry Pritchard, all of Frankfort, Alan Meszler Jr. of Ilion and Sheldon Longo of Maryland.Besides her parents and husband, Thomas, an infant sister, Laura Jones, and a great-granddaughter, Patrice E. Pritchard, predeceased her.Funeral services and committal will be private at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are with Fenner Funeral Home Inc., Herkimer.
