ILION – Linda Mae Moschetto, age 61, formerly of Mohawk, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, February 23, 2024, at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown. She was born on August 25, 1962, a daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Hicks) Conroy. She was raised and educated in Ilion. She was married Peter J. Moschetto, Sr. He predeceased her on June 8, 2012. For many years Linda worked as a Certified Nurses Aide, retiring in 2002 from St. Johnsville Nursing Home. Linda had a great love for the outdoors, epecially family get togethers. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She will be truly missed. Surviving are four daughters, Bethany Stapleton of Frankfort, Jennifer Graml of Ilion, Christina Bawolak and her husband William, of Richfield Springs and Melissa Moschetto of Ilion, eleven grandchildren, Alexis, Jeffrey, Adam, Dillion, Kiyla, Austin, William II, Lucas, Carter, Madyson, and Selena, two great-grandchildren, Winter and Mary, two sisters, Deborah DeLong of Ilion, Frances Murray and her husband Albert of Mohawk, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will be present in the Fenner Funeral Home, Inc. 115 Court Street, Herkimer on Sunday, February 25th from 11:00am-1:00pm to receive relatives and friends.
