ILION-Lisa Renee Stanton age 31, passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning January 20, 2012 in Faxton-Saint Lukes Medical Center, New Hartford. She was born on May 13, 1980, in Herkimer, daughter of and Mary Wellington Clements Farrington and Frederick Scott Clements and step daughter of David Farrington whom she admired. A lifelong area resident she was a graduate of Poland Central High School. On July 5, 2005 she was united in marriage with Richard Stanton in the town of Ohio. They have made their home in Ilion since 2004. To Lisa her family always came first. She was a devoted wife, mother and daughter. As a devoted wife, her husband Richard was the love of her life. As a loving mother she was always there for her children remaining cheerful through all of lifes ups and downs and to her caring mother she had a special bond that only a mother and daughter can share. Lisa will be greatly missed by her many friends and will never be forgotten. Surviving are her husband of six years Richard, a son David Jones of Ilion, three daughters, Linsey Clements, Skyler Stanton and Reily Stanton all of Ilion, step-parents, David Farrington of Syracuse, and Judy Clements of Richfield Springs, three brothers Robert Clements of Ilion, Bruce and Delbert Clements of Richfield Springs, a sister Grace baker of Herkimer, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother Scott Clements in 2007. Calling hours for Mrs. Stanton will be on Tuesday from 2:00 until 4:00 pm in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street; Herkimer. Funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm in the funeral home with the Reverend Janet Gleason, pastor of the First United Methodist Church Herkimer/Little Falls officiating. Interment will take place at a later time to be announced in Lakeview Cemetery, Richfield Springs.
