Louise McShane"Addie"RICHFIELD SPRINGS-Louise McShane"Addie" 91, of Canadrago Street died on Monday morning, June 5, 2000in Stone Hedge Nursing Home, Rome. She was born on September 15, 1908 inRichfield Springs, daughter of the late Louis and Minnie Eckler Weirs. Alifelong Richfield Springs resident; she was a graduate of Richfield SpringsHigh School. On November 12, 1930, she married Thomas McShane in RichfieldSprings, a loving and devoted union of Forty-five years until his passing in1975. Addies life revolved around her home and the love she had for herchildren and family. She was a member of the Church of Christ Uniting, RichfieldSprings.
Surviving her are two sons and theirwives; John J. and Leona McShane of Elmira, Donald E. and Joanne McShane ofFrankfort, a daughter; Sharon and her husband James Ernenwein of Westmoreland,one brother; Robert Weirs of Macon, GA, four grandchildren; Thomas and his wifeElaine McShane of Rochester, Jean and her husband Cary Vaeth of Latham, MichaelErnenwein of Westmoreland, Cathy and her husband Gifford DeWater of Elmira, fourgreat grandchildren; Nicholas Vaeth of Latham, Michael and his wife SherryDeWater of, Elmira, Carrie and her husband Chris Tournour of Guilderland, StevenDeWater of Elmira, several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Thomas shewas preceded in death by three brothers Baker, Maurice and Laverne Weirs and asister Sarah Worden.
A memorial service will be held onThursday at 11:00 AM in J. SEATON McGRATH FUNERAL HOME, 40 West James Street,Richfield Springs. The Reverend Williams Harkins pastor of the Church of ChristUniting, Richfield Springs will officiate. Interment will follow in LakeviewCemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Richfield Springs EmergencySquad or the West Winfield Emergency Squad. Envelopes will be available at thefuneral.
