Obituary

HERKIMER- Margaret E. Renodin, age 84, passed away on Tuesday evening, September 15, 2015, in Valley Health Services, Inc. She was born on February 1, 1931, in Lowville, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna. Margaret was raised in Lowville and was a graduate of Lowville High School. For many years she worked as a supervisor for Rome State School. She retired in 1986. In 2005 she moved to Mohawk coming from St. Johnsville. Margaret had a strong belief in God and faithfully attended Sts. Anthony and Joseph RC Church, Herkimer. In her leisure time she enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart where she regularly stopped for a good cup of Duncan Donuts coffee. To those who knew her they will never forget a caring, loving and helpful lady. Her great satisfaction in life was doing for others whether at work or in her own personal life. She will be truly missed. Surviving her are three brothers, Robert Renodin of Star Lake, Lyle Renodin of Albany, Joseph (Tony) Noody of Lowville, many nieces, nephews, great nieces , great nephews and cousins, also dear friends, Carlotta and Ervin J. Fuller, Susan Telfer and family. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Daryl Renodin and Blanche deCann, three brothers, Edward Renodin, C. Douglas Renodin and James Noody. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 9:00 am in the church of Sts. Anthony and Joseph, Herkimer. The Reverend Quy Vo, pastor will officiate. Interment will take place in Saint Peter's Cemetery, New Bremen, NY at a later time convenient to the family. Margaret's family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff on 2 West at Valley Health Services, Inc. Especially to Donna and Barb for the care and compassion shown by them during her stay. Expressions of sympathy may be made with memorial donations to the Church of Saints Anthony and Joseph or Valley Health Services, Inc. Envelopes will be available at the church service.
