HERKIMER – Marie Wineberg, age 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 30, 2023, at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown. She was born on October 9, 1940, in Little Falls, a daughter of the late Ralph and Sylvia (McGowan) Cool. A lifelong area resident, she was raised and educated in Stratford,graduating from High School with the class of 1958. For over 25 years she was employed at Remington Arms. Marie had a strong belief in our Savior. For many years she attended the Assembly of God Church in Little Falls, and more recently the Christian Bible Church in Mohawk. Marie will be fondly remembered as a kind and gentle woman with a compassionate heart who enjoyed doing for others. She will be sadly missed. .Surviving are her daughter, Denise Wineberg of Amsterdam, a brother Marc Cool and his wife Betty of Dolgeville, sisters, Gail Signer and her husband Rene' of White Plains and Veronica Gruby of Scotia, nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service in Fenner Funeral Home Inc, 115 Court Street, Herkimer, will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday October 28th. The Reverend H.
