In loving memory of Marjorie Jean Renodin, our dear mother, who passes away on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Folts Homes, Herkimer where she has resided since 1986. Marjorie was born on September 21, 1927, in Schuyler and was a lifelong area resident. In July of 1946, she married Anselm Renodin. He preceded her in death. For many years she worked for the Sperry-UNIVAC Company in Utica, retiring in 1980. Her life at Folts Homes was filled with much joy. She loved music and participated in many of the festive activities. She loved being with people and will be remembered for her loving smile and caring nature. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her friends and especially her family. Marjorie will be greatly missed. Surviving are six children: Joan Renodin, Barbara Urich, Edward Renodin and his wife Elaine, Wayne Renodin and his wife Mary, Roseanne King and her husband Tom, Kelly Jeche and her husband Greg, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband Anselum she was preceded in death by a son Joseph, a daughter Nancy and all of her brothers and sisters. Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Fenner Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer. Pastor Cathy Lee, Folts Home Chaplain, will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer. There are no calling hours.
