VANHORNESVILLE- Martha H. Bronner age 81 passed away peacefully on Saturday October 17, 2015 in Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, Little Falls. Martha was born on December 5, 1933 in Herkimer a daughter to the late Glenn and Anna Jordan Hoke. She was raised and educated in VanHornesville graduating from VanHornesville High School with the Class of 1951. On August 3, 1951 she was united in marriage with Darwin E. Bronner in the Fort Plain Lutheran Church Parsonage a blessed union of fifty-seven years until his passing on December 19, 2008. She and husband Darwin owned and operated the family farm in VanHornesville for many years as well as raising her family there. Martha was a member of the Jordanville Federated Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, reading and doing Sudoku puzzles. Martha was a friend to many and will be never forgotten. She is survived by her two sons; Richard E. Bronner and his wife Darlene of Van Hornesville, Robert D. Bronner and his wife Bethany of Mohawk, two daughters Debra A. Bronner and DeAnna H. Bronner both of Van Hornesville, five grandchildren Kyleen and her husband Jeffery Tice, Janelle and her husband Ismael Obaydi, Ryan Bronner, Andrea and her husband Patrick Luci, and Melissa Bronner, three great-grandchildren, a brother Gordon Hoke and his wife Cathy of Jordanville and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service for Mrs. Bronner will take place on Friday October 23rd at 2:00 pm in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs, the Reverend Theresa Gresheck will officiate. Calling hours will from 12:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the service.
