COLUMBUS-OH-Mary Frances Viziak Domion age 89 formerlyof Richfield Springs passed away on February 22, 2002 in Riverside Hospital,Columbus. She was born on June 9, 1912 in Little Falls daughter of the lateJanez and Mary Frances Viziak. Mary was raised and educated in Cooperstown. Shewas married to Albert Domion on September 22,1929 in Cooperstown, he precededher in death on August 8, 1962. For many years she had worked for the J.C.Penney Company in Columbus. She was a member of Saint Anthony's Church Columbus.
Surviving are two daughters; Elizabeth (Bette) Hellinger,Mary Jane Domion both of Columbus, OH, a brother; William and his wife MarionRuparshek of Cooperstown, three sisters; Sophia Culotti of Port Byron, AnneSteere of Mohawk, Elsie and her husband Lyle Steere of Cooperstown, twograndchildren; Wendy J. Hellinger, Lisa Kit and her husband Josef Matulich,three great grandchildren; Matthew Hellinger, Rachel and her husband Paul Hollar,Aidan Matulich, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents andhusband Albert she was predeceased by a son Albert Domion Jr., greatgranddaughter Alyssa Matulich and her stepfather Jacob Ruparshek.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday May 10, 2002 at 10:00AM in Saint Joseph's Church Richfield Springs. The Reverend Terrance Healey willofficiate. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph's Cemetery. There are nocalling hours. Funeral arrangements are with J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home,Richfield Springs.
