RICHFIELD SPRINGS - Mary Dunn, age 92 of Richfield Springs, died on Sunday June 2, 2002, in Danbury Hospital,Danbury, CT. She was born on March 4, 1910 in Johnstown, PAa daughter of the late Andrew and Theodora Mowchan Horchak. On July 12, 1930 shemarried John Dunn a devoted union of 61 years until his passing on December 30,1991. For 13 years she worked for Horn and Hardart in New York City. Mary andher husband moved from Greenpoint to Richfield Springs in 1942 where they ownedand operated a dairy farm until 1991. She enjoyed farming especially her goatsgiving each one a name. To her they were her pets. A kind and gentle person shedelighted in being with her family and friends. She was a member of St. Josephs Church,Richfield Springs. Surviving are one sister Eleanor Deskovich ofChicago, IL and many loving nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husbandshe was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Michael, George and PeterHorchak; three sisters, Katheryn Fauetella, Julia Gordon, and Pearl Rengh. Funeral service from J. Seaton McGrath FuneralHome, 40 West James Street, will be on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of ChristianBurial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church RichfieldSprings. Interment will follow in St. JosephsCemetery, Richfield Springs. The family will be present in the funeral hometo receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Memorialfund of St. Josephs Church.
