HERKIMER-Michael J. Robellard age 48 of North Prospect Street passed away unexpectedly on Saturday afternoon June 2, 2007 in Little Falls Hospital. He had the peace and comfort of his loving family at his side.
He was born on October 21, 1958 in Herkimer, son of Gerald J. and Joyce Shipengrover Robellard. A lifelong area resident he was educated in Herkimer Schools. Mr. Robellard had worked as a plumber with Robellard Plumbing and Heating, Robinson Brothers Appliance and more recently with Jon Weber Septic and Sewer Service in Mohawk.
On March 9, 2004 he was united in marriage with the former Mary Wilcox in East Herkimer.
Mike lived his life to the fullest; he enjoyed helping people, especially young kids and believed strongly in his favorite charity; the Childrens Miracle Network. He will always be thought of as an avid motorcycle rider. A man with a genuine love for the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing. But most of all he will be remembered for the happy times he had being surrounded by his many friends and family, especially his nieces, nephews and cherished grandson AJ. He will be greatly missed
Surviving him are his wife Mary, his parents, Jerry and Joyce Robellard of Mohawk, three daughters, Adriane, Kristy, and Casey Robellard all of East Herkimer, two step-daughters, Rae Lynn and Tori Latt both of Herkimer, two Brothers, Steven Robellard and his companion Ellie of Herkimer, David Robellard and his companion Mary Palmer of Ilion, one sister, Carol and her husband Ron Beach of East Herkimer, his grandson, Adam Walts of East Herkimer, nine nieces and nephews, Derek, Kyle and Danielle Beach all of East Herkimer, James Robellard of Ilion, Eric Robellard of MN, Jennifer Robellard of CA, Jeremy, Catherine and Ryan Robellard all of Herkimer, one great niece Natalie of CA, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Robellard in 1994.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 11:00 am in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer. The Reverend George Greene will officiate. Interment will follow in Armory Hill Cemetery. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
