RICHFIELD SPRINGS - Mildred Myra Patrick age 76 of Lake Street, passed away on Friday night September 9, 2005 in Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown.
She was born on May 27, 1929 in Edmeston, daughter of the late Charles and Nora Caulder Marriott. A life long Richfield Springs resident she was educated in Richfield Springs Schools. On May 31, 1970 she married James K. Patrick in the Richfield Springs United Methodist Church. Myras life was her home and family. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her many friends and family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a strong sense of community. She was a member of the Richfield Springs Board of Elections, the Richfield Springs Volunteer Fire Department and also their Ladies Auxiliary, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, the Disabled American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary and the Richfield Springs Loins Club. She was a friend to many and will never be forgotten.
Surviving are her loving husband of thirty-five years, James, six sons Donald Marriott of Monticello, Rudy Marriott, Richard Marriott and his companion Sue Bunce, Robert Marriott and his wife Kathleen all of Richfield Springs, Randy and his wife Lisa Patrick of Terra Haute, IN, Michael Patrick of Richfield Springs, three daughters, Carol and her husband Jack Miller, Susan Wood and her companion Mitch Bulger, Debra LaVeck and her companion Kenny Beopple all of Richfield Springs, two brothers, Warren and his wife Marian Marriott of West Winfield, John and his wife Barbara Marriott of Leonardsville, seven sisters, Dorothy Griffith of Leonardsville, Helen Emma OConnor, Frances Marriott both of Richfield Springs, Louise Holmes of Unadilla Forks, Mary Eleanor and her husband James Phillips of Madison, Margaret Iva and her husband Frank Lewis of Waterville, Beverly and her husband Joseph Szewczyk of Sauquoit, twenty-seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents a son, David Marriott, four brothers, William, Melvin, Owen and Frank Marriott and a sister Lorraine Marriott preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be on Tuesday at 11:00 am in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs. Pastor Alan Miller of the Richfield Springs Bible Church will officiate. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Richfield Springs Volunteer Fire Department or the Catskill Area Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Members of the Richfield Springs Volunteer Fire Department are asked to meet at the funeral home on Monday evening at 7:00 pm for services
