HERKIMER - Myra Roberts, age 101, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, in Valley Health Services Inc. Herkimer. She was born on April 13, 1914 in Hobart the daughter of the late Alexander and Katherine Mihalko. She graduated from Cooperstown High School and studied for one year at Syracuse University. In 1933 she was united in marriage to Guy Roberts. He preceded her in 1960. For many years she worked as a bookkeeper for a trucking company retiring in 1986. Myra was a member and past matron of the Oriskany Chapter OES. She also had served as treasurer of the chapter. Surviving are her friends and staff members of Valley Health Services. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brother Robert Mihalko. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in Fly Creek Cemetery, Fly Creek. Reverend Janet Gleason, pastor of the First United Methodist Church Herkimer/Little Falls will officiate. Funeral arrangements are with Fenner Funeral Home Inc., Herkimer.
