SCHUYLER LAKE - Nan Jane Kelly, age 64, of County Highway #23, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 29, 2008 in her home. She had the comfort of her family at her side. She was born on September 3, 1943, in Brooklyn, a daughter of the late C. Monroe and Dorothy (Schultz) Webster. She was raised and educated on Long Island graduating from high school and continuing her education at George Washington Universitygraduating in 1965. On October 9, 1965, she was united in marriage to L. Kevin Kelly in Chillum, MD and had resided in Maryland until moving to Schuyler Lake in 2002. She was employed by Emergency Medicine Associates in Rockville, MD retiring in 2000. She had a strong belief in God and was a communicant of St. Michaels Catholic Church of Mount Airy, MD and St. Josephs Catholic Church in Richfield Springs. Besides her church involvement and love of her pets, she enjoyed reading, and spending time gardening. Her happiest moments were times she spent with her friends and family especially her grandchildren. Nan was a gracious and loving woman and will always be remembered for her caring and helpful ways. She will be greatly missed. Surviving besides her husband of forty-three years, Kevin are one son, Timothy Kelly and his wife Carrie of Athens Georgia, three daughters, Jane Kelly of Baltimore, MD, Susan Menendez and her husband Dan of Burlington Flats, Lauren La-Canfora and her husband Jason of Arlington, VA, five grandchildren, Daniel, Kelly, Cassie, Chloe Rocco, two brothers, Fred Webster and his wife Doris of Wilmington, NC, Richard Webster and his wife Bridget of Chicago, IL, several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday May 9th at 10:30 am in St. Michael Catholic Church, Mount Airy, MD. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday May 17th at 11:00 am in St. Josephs Catholic Church, Richfield Springs.
