HERKIMER – Nancy L. Krouse, 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. She was born on March 7, 1947 in Herkimer, daughter of the late Rose (Tamburro) Ingerham. She was raised and educated in Herkimer. On March 10, 1964, she married Kenneth M. Krouse in the First United Methodist Church, Herkimer. They shared a devoted marriage of many years until his passing on February 5, 2006. For over 20 years Nancy worked as a Supervisor at LaSalle factory in Little Falls. Nancy was a hard worker who cherished her family. She especially enjoyed cooking big meals every Saturday bringing her family together for a feast. She will be fondly remembered for her for her spunky attitude, quick wit, huge heart, and "Saturday dinners". She will be sadly missed by her friends and especially her family. She is survived by a son David Krouse, of Herkimer twodaughters, Nancy Hilts of Herkimer, Sara Krouse of Jordanville, two brothers Anthony "Joe" Ingerham of Herkimer and James Ingerham of Mohawk, twelve cherished grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents and husband Ken, she was preceded in death by her son, Patrick "Gomer" Ingerham on March 3, 2022, 4 brothers, Patrick, Donald, Thomas William and 4 sisters, Dolores, Katie, Joann and Rosie. The family would like to send a special thank you to Deb from Hospice, Brianna Shoen, Nancy's granddaughter Crystal's friend who went above and beyond to care for our mom, and Crystal who was with her grandma until the very end. A graveside service will be held later this spring in Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are with Fenner Funeral Home Inc.
