STARKVILLE - Noel Lawrence, age 57, passed away on Monday morning, April 2, 2007 in his home. He was born on May 25, 1949 in Little Falls, a son of the late Francis and Jean Smith Lawrence. A lifelong area resident he graduated high school from Owen D. Young Central School, Van Hornesville. For over 20 years he was employed with Remington Arms Ilion. An avid stock car enthusiast, Noel enjoyed racing stock cars and would often be found working the pits at the Fonda Race Track. Surviving are two nieces, Michelle Tucker and her husband Scott of Rochester, Danielle Lawrence and her fianc Michael Waseleski of Mohawk, his special friends Jack and Tina Douglas of Cedarville. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Larry in April 1988. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at a later time in Springfield Center Cemetery. The family will be present in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs, on Wednesday, two hours prior to the funeral service (from 11:00 am until 1:00 p.m.) Expression of sympathy may be made to the Canadaraga Snow Toppers.
