HERKIMER - Patricia Marusic, age 60, of Dayton Place, passed away on Friday morning, November 11, 2011, in Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown. She had the comfort of her loving family at her side.She was born on February 1, 1951, in Hudson, daughter of the late Clarence and Frances Wolfe Cutler. Patricia was raised and educated in Hudson Schools. In 1983, she moved to Herkimer, coming from Hudson.On August 8, 1987, she was united marriage with Paul J. Marusic in Cold Brook; he preceded in death on July 12, 1988.For many years, Pat worked as a waitress at the Empire Diner in Herkimer. She retired in 2000.To those who knew her, she was a warm, caring and hopeful person who faced life's challenges with faith and courage. She was a friend to many and will never be forgotten.She is survived by her loving daughter, Heather Marusic, of Herkimer; one brother, Ronald Cutler, of Stuyvesant Falls; a sister, Rosemary Zukowski, of Stockport; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Besides her parents and husband, Paul, she was predeceased by a son, Shane, in 1971.At Mrs. Marusic's request funeral service and interment will be private and at the convenience family.Funeral arrangements are with Fenner Funeral Home, Inc., Herkimer
