RICHFIELDSPRINGS-PatriciaGreenlee Parese, 50, of Prospect Street, died on Sunday afternoon September 17, 2000 inher home with her loving family by her side, after a courageous 10 year battle with breastcancer. She was born in Little Falls Hospital on August6, 1950, daughter of Robert and Katherine Silvernail Greenlee. Patricia was raisededucated in Dolgeville and went on to Houghton graduating in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science Degreein Music Education. She began her teaching career in Cooperstown Central School districtas a music teacher. Later teaching fourth grade, sixth grade and kindergarten. On August19, 1972 she married Gary Parese in Dolgeville. Patricia was a loving and devoted wife,mother, sister, and friend whose life revolved around her family. She was a kind, caringand non-judgmental person who always brought peace and love into other peoples lives. Shewas a woman of great spirit and faith. A musically talented individual whos spiritwill always live on. Her family and friends loved her and will deeply miss her. Surviving beside her husband of 28 years, Garyand her parents Katherine and Robert Greenlee of Dolgeville are one son Errin and his wifeCrystal Parese of Gilbertsville; her daughter Kate Parese of Richfield Springs; a sister,Pamela Cali and her husband Joseph of Argyle, NY. Also surviving are her mother andfather-in-law Rose and Tom Parese; sister-in-law Bonnie and Gary Kirchofer all ofDolgeville, and Lauren Parese of Westmoreland also surviving are nieces and nephews,Jessica and Buz Davis of Cincinnati, OH, Jeff and Denise Kirchofer of Fort Hood, TX, GreggKirchofer of Toledo, OH, Kristen and Kevin Wieszenski of Gloversville. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursdayat7:00pm in the Mohawk Methodist Church. The Rev. Deborah Wollaber pastor will officiate. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to Patricia Parese Scholarshipfund in care of Richfield Springs Central Schools. Envelopes will be available at thememorial service. Funeral arrangements are with J.
