Herkimer - Pauline Greene, age 82, formerly, died on Monday, November 5, 2001 in Valley Health Service, after a long illness. She was born on July 21, 1919 in Herkimer, a daughter of the late James H. and Florence. Fournier Greene. A lifelong area resident she was a graduate of Herkimer schools. She was a member of St. Francis deSales Church, Herkimer. Pauline is survived by two brother James Greene of South Portland, Maine, Thomas Greene of Cape Coral, Florida; three sisters, Lucille Grabowski of Johnstown, Mary Greene of Rochester, Clothilde Greene of Scotia, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Shirley Campbell and a brother, John Greene. Funeral from Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer, on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Francis deSales Church, Herkimer at 12 noon with the Reverend Mark Cunningham, pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary cemetery. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Valley Health Service.
