HERKIMER-Pauline Madore 81 of South Bellinger Street, died on Monday November 13, 2000 in St. Lukes Memorial Hospital Center, New Hartford. She was born on April 19, 1919 in Herkimer, daughter of the late Antonio and Marie Domenica Annutto. A lifelong Herkimer resident, she was educated in Herkimer Schools. It was on November 26, 1955 that she married George J. Madore in Saint Anthonys Church, Herkimer. For many she had worked in the garment industry and later, with a love for growing plants and flowers, owned and operated Madores Greenhouse in Herkimer. She was a member of the Church of Sts. Anthony and Joseph, Herkimer, the Herkimer Crusaders Auxiliary and the Anthony R. George Post Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving besides her beloved husband of forty-five years George are one daughter Georgina and her husband John Richard Viscosi, two granddaughters; Georgina Marie and Felicia Richelle Viscosi all of Gloversville, two sisters; Florence M. Annutto and Elizabeth Lidano both of Herkimer, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded death by five brothers; Philip Annutto, Anthony Annutto, Al Massaro, Nicholas Annatta and Alphonso Annotto, two sisters; Antoinette Campagna and Lillian Morra.
Funeral from Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer on Thursday at 8:45 AM. A Mass of Christian will be celebrated at 9:30 AM in the church of Sts. Anthony and Joseph. The Reverend Robert Shinos pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
