Raymond E. Reynolds, 72, of the Town of German Flatts, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Wynn Hospital, Utica. At the time of his passing, he had the love and comfort of his loved ones by his side.

He was born on September 25, 1953, in Ilion and was the son of the late Bertron and Margaret (Walters) Reynolds. He raised in the Van Hornesville area and is a graduate of Owen D Young School. On July 31, 1976, Raymond was united in marriage to Brenda Sweet at Blessed Sacrament Church, Mohawk. The couple shared a blessed union of 49 years together. Raymond was employed as a Transaction Specialist for Remington Arms Company, Ilion, he retired after 48 years of faithful service. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially golfing at Holland Heights Golf Course, Herkimer, where he loved the golf, the views and the hot dogs. If he wasn’t golfing, he was on his Kubota tractor tending to his property.

He is survived by his wife Brenda, son Ryan Reynolds, Mohawk, brothers Richard Reynolds, FL, Robert Reynolds, Ilion, sisters Joyce Roberts and Janice, Mohawk, granddaughter Katie Reynolds and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, sisters Beverly Liddle and Barbara Gage.

In keeping with Raymond’s wishes, there will be no formal services at this time. A celebration of his life will be held at a later time to be announced. The family has entrusted his care to Fenner Funeral Home, Inc, 115 Court Street, Herkimer, NY 13350.
