Richfield Springs - Richard King, 87, formerly of Rosewood Terrace, passed away on Tuesday morning, July 24, 2001 in The Meadows, town of Middlefield where he has resided since March of 1995. He was born on March 22, 1914 in Alabama, son of the late Eli and Annie King. Mr. King grew up in the New York City area. For many years he owned and operated his own landscaping business on Long Island before moving to this area. He was a member of the Schuyler Lake Kindgom Hall Jehovah's Witness. With a strong belief in God he served in their full time ministry. He leaves behind many friends and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2001 at 12:15 p.m. in the Schuyler Lake Kindom Hall of the Jehovah's Witness. Interment will be private. Funeral arrangements are with J.
