RICHFIELD SPRINGS – Robert S. Hannahs, Jr., age 57, of Main Street, passed away on Tuesday September 24, 2024 in his home. Robert was born on October 28, 1966 in Cooperstown, a son to Shirley Burdick and the late Robert S. Hannahs. He was raised and educated in Richfield Springs and a graduate of Richfield Springs High School. After school he enlisted in the United States Navy serving from 1984 until 1993. Bob was a night manager at Price Chopper in Richfield Springs retiring in 2014 Surviving him are his mother Shirley Householder and her husband ED of Arkansas, his step-mother Joyce Hannahs of Richfield Springs, two brothers; Kenneth Hannahs of North Carolina, Scott Cady of Richfield Springs, three sisters; Barbara Hannahs of Oneonta, Connie Bellair and her husband Lee of Brookfield, Phyllis Cady of Schuyler Lake, Michelle Fortson of Arkansas, several nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service for Mr. Hannahs will be private and at the convenience of his family. Funeral arrangements are with J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs.
