HERKIMER – Rose Goodman, 93 passed away peacefully on Monday September 11, 2023 at the Masonic Care Community, Utica. A daughter of the late Alfonse and Gertrude (Lincourt) Massaro she was born in Herkimer on May 31, 1930. She was first married to Robert Goebel. On March 29, 1974, she married Harry J. Goodman who predeceased her in 2007. Surviving are three daughters, Jane Getman of Saquoit, Janet Gilbert and her husband Jerry of East Herkimer, Leona Goebel of Burlington, VT, several grandchildren, nieces and cousins. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son Robert Goebel, siblings, Anthony and Michael Massaro and Marie Terpening . Funeral service will be on Saturday, September 16, at 11:00 am in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer. Interment will be private. Funeral Service
