Obituary

Richfield Springs - Rose M. Stickles,age 85, of 104 North Washington Street, Herkimer and formerly of 17 Center Street,Richfield Springs, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, August 22, 2001, in Little FallsHospital. She was born on July 27, 1916, in Cooperstown,daughter of the late George and Ida Lord Hutchins. A lifelong area resident she was agraduate of Schuyler Lake High School. Mrs. Stickles was a loving and caring person whoselife centered around her husband Wesley who preceded her in 1966 and their three sons. Shehad been a resident of the Folts Homes in Herkimer for the past two years. She will alwaysbe remembered as a loving and caring person and will be missed by her fiends and family. Surviving her are two sons and their wives, Georgeand Lynne Stickles of Richfield Springs, Charles and Fanny Stickles of Mohawk; adaughter-in-law, Lillian Stickles of Mohawk; eight grandchildren, thirteen greatgrandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Wesley, elevenbrothers and sisters, her son Robert Stickles preceded her in death on July 4thof this year. Funeral service will be held on Saturday morning at11:00 a.m. in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs. TheReverend David Schlaegel will officiate. Interment will follow in Twilight Rest Cemetery,Monticello, town of Richfield Springs. The family will be present in the funeral home toreceive relatives and friends on Friday (today) from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
