HERKIMER-Russell Bell 73 of Grey-Wilmurt Road, Cold Brook passed away on Saturday evening January 7, 2001 in Heritage Nursing Home, Utica. He was born on September 11, 1927 in Binghamton, son of the late J. William and Lela Jones Bell. Mr. Bell came to this area as young man from Binghamton and has resided here since. He was a member of the HARC Seniors Program. A kind and gentle man, Russell loved to be around children. He was of the Methodist faith. Other than his advocate Mary Allen of Binghamton, Russell leaves no immediate family. Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 2:00 PM in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer. The Reverend Deborah Wollaber pastor of the Mohawk United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Middleville Cemetery later this Spring. Friends who wish may call at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the funeral service(1:00 to 2:00 PM)
