MOHAWK - Ruth H. Ingolsby, 68, of Walnut Street, passed away peacefully following a brief illness on Thursday afternoon, June 13, 2002, in Valley Health Services Inc., Herkimer. She was born July 21, 1933 in Cooperstown. She was raised and educated in Rome. From 1977 until 1997, Ruth lived with Laverna Swiger. In 1997, Ruth was welcomed into the home of Diana Countryman, where she resided until entering Valley Health Services Inc. earlier this month. She was employed by LaSalle Industries in Little Falls. Ruth had a strong belief in God and was a member of the Mohawk Reformed Church. She will be missed by co-workers and staff at LaSalle Industries, as well as by her care giver over the past five years, Diana Countryman and her housemate, Mary Morvitz. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer. The Rev. Paul Aker, pastor of the Mohawk Reformed Church, will officiate. She will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours are one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday, 10-11 a.m.
