HERKIMER-Ruth P. Weber age 83 of McKennon Road passed away peacefully Wednesday morning December25, 2013 in Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, Little Falls.
She was born on August 13, 1930 in Remsen, daughter of the late Kon and Stephania Saronowski Parmon. Ruth was raised in Herkimer and was a graduate of Herkimer High School. On February 24, 1951 she was united in marriage with Warren C. Weber in the First United Methodist Church, Herkimer the Reverend Fred Cotnam officiated. From 1971 to 1981 Mrs. Weber worked as an assembler for the General Electric Company in Utica.
To all who knew Ruth, they will never forget a kind, caring and generous lady. She loved her home and enjoyed cooking and baking for her many friends and especially her husband. In her leisure time she enjoyed many fishing trips, berry picking and exploring the many rivers in the northern mountains with her husband. Those were the cherished times that meant so much to them both. She will be truly missed.
Surviving are her loving husband of sixty-two years, Warren, one brother, Decker Parmon and his wife Doris of Herkimer, four sisters, Sophie Parmon Valente of Herkimer, Joan Parmon of Mohawk, Betty Harmon of Herkimer, Stella Stockey of Orlando, FL, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will take place later this spring in Mountain View Memorial Gardens, town of Little Falls at a time to be announced. There are no calling hours.
