HERKIMER – Sandra Mae 'Sandie' Lamphere age 61, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, May 20, 2024, after a long illness in her home with her loving family at her side. She was born on May 3, 1963, in Troy NY, the daughter of the late Donald Edward and Virginia (Bryant) Davin. Survived by her loving husband of 33 years Kevin, two sons, Todd Lamphere, Dustin Lamphere (Melissa) all of Herkimer, three grandsons, Shane, Taylor, and Justin Lamphere, a brother Donald Davin of Columbia Mississippi, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Sandie was devoted to her family; selflessly caring for others throughout her life.  A strong-willed determined woman who loved spending time in her garden, nurturing both plants and people. She will be remembered for her caring heart and helping others. She will be missed by her friends and family, especially her three cherished grandsons. Funeral service and committal will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Herkimer County Humane Society.
