ILION-Scott A. Richardson age 42 of Otsego Street passed away unexpectedly on Saturday evening September 17, 2005 in his home. He was born on August 3, 1963 in Herkimer, son of Mary Dixon Richardson and the late Gordon Richardson. Scott was raised in Herkimer and was a graduate of Herkimer High School. On January 20, 1990 he married the former Diane D. Pettengill in Ilion. He was currently working as a bus driver for the Herkimer Area Resource Center as well as being a Defensive Driving instructor. Scott had many interests including NASCAR and Jeff Gordon, his NFL Buffalo Bills and the pride he took in his model cars and airplanes collection. To all that knew him they will remember his quiet manner and the joy he felt for his loving wife his devoted children and his home. He will be truly missed. Surviving are his wife of fifteen years Diane, two sons Bryan Wentworth, Brandon Richardson, three daughters Brittany Wentworth, Brandi Richardson and Brianna Richardson all of Ilion, two brothers and their wives, Jerry and Barbara Richardson of Cache, OK, Eric and Patricia Richardson of Hudson, FL, one sister Cathy and her husband Philip Estes of Wiley, TX, a grandson, Rylie Finehout of Ilion, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be on Thursday at 11:00 am in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer. Pastor Joe Jansen of the New Life Church and Ministry Center will officiate. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens, town of Little Falls. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 4:00 until 7:00 pm.
