SHARON LOUISE COATS RUTH -Passed peacefully in her home with her husband at her side on August 29 2012. Sharon was born on February 23, 1962 in San Antonio, Texas and grew up in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Her parents were Dorothy L (Rhodes) Coats and Don J Coats. Thirty one years ago Sharon married William H. Ruth Jr. on July 23, 1982 and moved to start their new life in the Town of Otsego New York State. Sharon was predeceased by her baby brother (Frank J Coats) and her parents. She is survived by her brothers Clay of California; Howard; DJ and Roy of Texas. She also leaves her sisters Carol of Mississippi and Ruth of Texas. She will be sadly missed by her family which includes numerous nieces and nephews. She was loved and will be missed by her step-children, step-grandchildren and members of her husbands extensive family. Sharon chose to donate her body to the Upstate Medical University of Syracuse, NY. Her wishes were carried out by J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home of Richfield Springs, NY. There will be no services in New York State at this time. A memorial service will be held on September 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the graveside of her parents in the White Oak Springs Baptist Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, TX. Her husband would like to thank their family, friends and neighbors for their support of Sharon and Bill through her illness. Bill wishes to thank Pastor Jay D.
