HERKIMER - Shirley E. Iredell age 71 of 315 North Prospect Street, Midtown Apartments entered into eternal rest on Wednesday March 31, 2004 in her home. She was born on September 18, 1932 in Herkimer, daughter of the late Clarence and Sylvia Fellows Rivenburg. A lifelong Herkimer resident, she received her education in Herkimer Schools. Shirley at one time had worked for the Allegro Shoe Company in Little Falls, later at Derby Sportswear in Herkimer and then for ten years in the Bakery Department at the Great American Grocery Stores in Herkimer and Ilion. She retired in 1998. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church Herkimer-Little Falls. Shirley had many friends and will never be forgotten. Surviving are one son, Jody and his wife Lisa Iredell of New Hartford, two brothers and their wives, Clarence and Barbara Rivenburg of East Herkimer, John and Gale Rivenburg of Little Falls, two sisters, Nora M. Rivenburg of Herkimer, Ruth and her husband Robert Engells of Mohawk, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family
