HERKIMER-Steven Donald Brown age 57, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 6, 2022 in his home. He was born on September 26, 1963 in Albany, son of the late Raymond E. and Joan Forbes Brown. Steven was raised in Richfield Springs and was a graduate of Richfield Springs High School with the class of 1982. He furthered his education at Schenectady Community College where he received an Associate's Degree. Mr. Brown worked as a consultant for Career Connections in Herkimer. To all who knew him he was a kind, caring and helpful man. Earlier in his life Steven battled many of his demons but always overcame them. He will always be remembered for his good nature and sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by many. He is survived by his brother Thomas Michael Brown, his loving aunt Roberta Ingraham, her loving family and hundreds of others in the Mohawk Valley. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by an infant sister, Janice Brown and a brother Scott Brown. A gathering of friends will take place on Sunday February 20th from 2:00 until 3:00 pm in Fenner Funeral home Inc., 115 Court Street. Interment will take place in Springfield Center Cemetery later this spring.
