RICHFIELD SPRINGS Steven J. Hawkins, age 46, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010. He was born on October 7, 1963 in Oneonta, son of the late James Livingston and Mary Lorraine Lambert Hawkins. A lifelong area resident, his family moved to Richfield Springs in 1970. He graduated from Richfield Springs High School with the class of 1981. Steven had been employed in the Housekeeping Department of the Otsego Manor since 1984. In his leisure time he enjoyed working on the computer, listening to music and spending time in his garage. To his friends and co-workers he will always be remembered as a sincere, hard working man with a good sense of humor and an unforgettable smile. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by two brothers James Hawkins of Ilion, Robert Hammond and his wife Mary ANNE OF Albany, three sisters, Jean Ann Everitt of Bainbridge, Grace Post and her husband Brian of Clifton Park and Rita Smith of North Carolina. He also leaves nieces and nephews, Sarah, Gwen, J.J., Ashley and Sylvia Everitt all of Bainbridge, David and Allen Post both of Clifton Park, Laury Mack , Kailie and Kyle Hawkins all of Ilion, Robbie and Marybeth of Albany, a grand-niece, Abbie Jo Trevor and a grand-nephew, Connor Mack. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 25th at 2:00 p.m. in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home; 40 West James Street, RichfieldSprings. The Reverend Alan Miller, Pastor of the Richfield Springs Bible Churchwill officiate. Expression of sympathy may be made with memorial donations to the Susan G.
