HERKIMER-SylviaL. Maury 73 formerly of East Steele Street, died on Sunday, July 2, 2000 in CharlesT. Sitrin Health Care Center, Inc., Utica. She was born on December 15, 1926 in Ilion,daughter of the late Alfred and Sylvia Neff Seilor. A lifelong area resident,she was a graduate of Ilion High School. On May 15, 1951 she married John MauryJr. in Ilion. They shared a loving union of thirty years until his passing in1981. Her life was devoted to her family and home where she loved to bake andcook. She was a member of Mount Zion Ministries, Utica. Survivingher are three sons; John Maury of Rensselaer Falls, Jeffery and his wife MalarieMaury of Chicago, IL, Dale and his wife Cynthia Maury of Herkimer, one daughter;Valerie Maury of Esperance and four grandchildren. Funeralservice will be on Wednesday at 12:00 Noon in Fenner Funeral HomeInc., 115Court Street, Herkimer. Michael Hughes of Mount Zion Ministries will officiate.Interment will follow in Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion. The family will be presentin the funeral home to receive relatives and friends two hour prior the funeralservice, 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
