Theodore F. DziadikWarren - Theodore F. Dziadik, age 66, of Hopkins Road, passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening, December 21, 2001 in his home. He was born on July 25, 1935, in Paines Hollow, son of the late Frank and Christina Khowance Dziadik. A lifelong resident, Ted was educated in VanHornesville and Richfield Springs schools. On November 15, 1957, he married Eleanor F. Mang, a loving and devoted union of 36 years until her passing on May 16, 1993. For 28 years, Ted was a driver for the Town of Warren Highway Department and for 26 years, a heavy equipment operator for Eastern Rock (Hanson) in Jordanville, retiring in 1998. He had a love for nature and the outdoors and was an avid gardener. He is survived by his son, Theodore R. Dziadik, of Richfield Springs; four daughters and their husbands, Debra and Luther Stalter, of Cooperstown, Donna and George Demorest, of Springfield Center, Diane and George Butts, of East Springfield and Pamela and James Smith, of Jordanville; a sister, Anna Smagalski, of Richfield Springs; a son-in-law, Donald Snyder, of Richfield Springs; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Besides his parents and wife, Eleanor, a brother, John Dziadik, preceded him in death November of 2000. The family will be present in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James St., Richfield Springs to receive relatives and friends on Monday afternoon 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. with the Rev. William Harkins, Pastor of the Church of Christ Uniting. Interment in Highland Rural Cemetery, Jordanville will be next spring. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
