HERKIMER-Todd Michael Keblish age 22 of Osborne Hill Road passed away on Friday evening July 7, 2006 In Little Falls Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on October 26, 1983 in Herkimer, son of Stephen and Joanne Lyon Keblish. A lifelong Herkimer resident he was raised on his familys farm was educated in St Francis deSales School and was a graduate of West Canada Valley High School with the class of 2002. Todd furthered his education at Mohawk Valley Community College receiving an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Civil Engineering and an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Surveying Technology. He was currently enrolled at SUNYIT working on his Degree in Civil Engineering. For the past three years he was employed as a land surveyor by Cornerstone Land Surveying in Schuyler. A sincere and hardworking young man, from boyhood on he had worked side by side with his dad Steve on the Keblish family farm. Todd was reliable; whether at work or with his school studies and always maintained time to enjoy himself with his many friends and family. He was an avid bowler, starting in the first grade with the Junior Elks League going on to High School Bowling and later in the Coors Classic League where he had bowled a 300 game and an 813 series at the State Bowling Center in Ilion . He had a love for the land and outdoors where he hunted, snowmobiled and enjoyed camping. He was also known for his participation in Tractor Pulls with his John Deere Tractor. He had a strong belief in God and led a devoted Catholic life. He was a member of Saint Francis deSales Church, Herkimer. Nothing can detract from the joy that we all shared in knowing Todd and we rejoice that he was a part of our lives. Surviving him are his parents, Stephen and Joanne Keblish, two brothers, Stephen Keblish Jr., Bradley Keblish, one sister, Catherine Keblish, his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Riesel Lyon Griffith and her husband James, his paternal grandmother, Vera Keblish all of Herkimer, many aunts, uncles, cousins and his Black Labrador canine companion Bowzer. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, George Lyon, maternal grandfather Nicholas Keblish, great-grandparents Hugo and Anne Riesel and his uncle, George Lyon Jr. on October 7, 1978. Funeral from Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer on Tuesday at 10:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am in Saint Francis deSales Church, Herkimer. The Reverend Mark Cunningham, Pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery . The family will be present in the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 to 3:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 pm.
