RICHFIELD SPRINGS - Travis A. Mang, age 34, of Lake Street passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning May 3, 2014 in Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown. Travis was born on December 20, 1979 in Cooperstown a son of Allan and Doreen Duncan Mang. He was raised and educated in Richfield Springs. For the past seven years he was a production worker at Adirondack Leather Products in Fly Creek. He enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, fishing, watching NASCAR and most of all spending every minute he could with his children. Travis was a friend to many and he will never be forgotten. Besides his mother and father he survived by his two children Dominic Gregory Mang of Richfield Springs and Marie Rose Mang of Ilion, a sister Phyllis Marie Bennett and her husband Frank of Binghamton, his maternal grandmother Dorothey R. Duncan, paternal grandmother Elsie Mae Mang and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Howard J. Duncan and Charles F. Mang. Calling hours for Travis will be held on Thursday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm with the Reverend Alan Miller, officiating. Interment will take place in Springfield Center Cemetery.
