CHARLESTON, SC Virginia J. Lynch age 57 of Hanahan, SC formerly of Ilion passed away on Thursday August 29, 2013 in Medical University of South Carolina Hospital, she had the comfort and the support of her loving family by her side. Ginny was born on June 9, 1956 in Ilion, a daughter of Arthur and the late Janet Wheeler Harrington. She was raised and educated locally, graduating from Mohawk High School. She was engaged to Peter Tucci. Virginia was a Certified Nurses Aide working in Folts Home, Herkimer. She helped with and cared for the residents and made many friendships with them. She retired in 2008. In 2012, she moved to Hanahan, South Carolina where she has resided since. To all who knew her Virginia was a very caring person who enjoyed being with her family. She was always willing to help anyone while looking for nothing in return. She was a friend to many and will never be forgotten. Surviving besides her father and her fianc Peter are two daughters; Janetlee Barnes and her husband Shawn of Dolgeville, Susan Reynolds of Hanahan, SC, two brothers; Randy Harrington of Utica and Charles Harrington of Little Falls; three sisters Melissa Aney and her companion Patrick Ransom of Little Falls, Darlene Robinson and her husband Bill of Utica and Lisa Volo and her husband Patrick of Ilion, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and her Chihuahua, Star. Besides her mother she was preceded in death by a son Frederick Richard Keiser. A graveside service for Virginia will take place on Wednesday September 18th at 11:00 am in Oak Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Hans Drews, officiating. There will be no calling hours.
