MIDLOTHIAN, Va. - Wanda DiGiacomo, 91, of North Spring Run Road, passed away Monday morning, Nov. 25, 2002, in her home.
She was born June 12, 1911, in Richfield Springs, daughter of the late William and Clara Gardner Osterhout. Wanda was raised and educated in Richfield Springs. Upon graduating from high school, she furthered her education and was a graduate of the Leland Powers School of the Theatre.
On Sept. 2, 1939, she married Salvatore DiGiacomo, a loving and devoted union of 60 years. Mr. DiGiacomo preceded her in death Aug. 8, 2000.
From 1945 until 1954, Wanda was employed by the OSS/CIA, Washington, D.C., retiring in 1955.
All who knew her will remember her warm smile and friendly manner. She will never be forgotten.
Surviving are one daughter, Sally and her husband David Zuck of Midlothian, Va.; two grandchildren, Jesse William Zuck and his wife Stephanie of Austin, Texas, and Alice Revere and her husband Patrick of Midlothian, Va.; a great-grandson, Gabriel Salvatore Zuck of Austin, Texas; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held next spring in Lakeview Cemetery, Richfield Springs at a time to be announced. Funeral arrangements are with J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, Richfield Springs.
