RICHFIELDSPRINGS-William G. Schooley "Bill" 74 of State Highway # 28, passedaway on Monday evening, January 8, 2001 in Folts Homes, Herkimer.
He wasborn on July 3, 1926 in Richfield Springs, son of the late Glenn and HarrietSuhocki Schooley. A lifelong Richfield Springs resident he was educated inRichfield Springs Schools. An honorably discharged US Army veteran he servedproudly in Korea during the Korean War. On December 11, 1965 he married BettyMcGraw in the Ilion United Methodist Church. A loving and devoted union of overthirty-one years until her passing on December 25, 1997. For many years Bill wasassociated with his father and grandfather in the family lumber business, A. T.Schooley Lumber Company of Richfield Springs. He then went on to work for TitanHomes, retiring in 1986. He was a former member of the Richfield SpringsVolunteer Fire Department.
Survivinghim are several aunts, uncles and cousins.
