RICHFIELD SPRINGS-Winston C. Fish age 71 passed away on Sunday evening March 8, 2015 in A.O. Fox Nursing Home, Oneonta. He was born on July 14, 1943 in Cooperstown, son of the late Ward and Dorothy Sheriden Fish. Winston was raised and educated in Richfield Springs. He had worked as a bus driver for the Richfield Springs Central School and had also worked as a custodian in the Bainbridge Central School System. In his leisure time he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, farming and exploring caves. He at one time was quite involved with Beaver Sprite in Dolgeville. To those who knew Winston he was a quiet, reserved man. Any conversation with him was straight and to the point but you always felt his warmth and friendship whenever you were with him. He will be greatly missed. Surviving him are one brother, Ward Fish Jr. of Cooperstown, three sisters, Jean Corso and her husband Anthony, Arlene Burnside and her husband David, Lois Cursh all of Richfield Springs, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service and interment for Mr. Fish will be private and at the convenience of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be made with memorial donations to the A. O.
